Improving Senior and Youth Activity Programming

Push for innovative, cost-effective social senior and youth programming activities. Clinton Township needs to continue expanding senior and youth programs and resources. Dan recognizes having these services in place is a primary reason people choose Clinton Township to live and work in.

Clinton Township has the best police department and fire departments in Michigan. Dan knows they need to be fully funded for equipment, training, and personnel.

 Collaborate with Macomb County Public Works and officials to improve the water quality of the Clinton River. Dan started the Lake St. Clair Restoration Alliance, dedicated to protecting, preserving, and improving local freshwater lakes and rivers. 

Dan knows that having smooth roads is a key to retain residents and businesses, as well as attracting new ones.

Support board members who support government transparency and efforts to stop wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars. 

As a small business owner, Dan knows the importance of working with officials, business organizations, chambers, other business owners, and the community to promote new businesses and retain existing businesses. 

Dan was an essential part of keeping Columbus Day. He listened to the residents and their wishes to keep the observance of Columbus Day.
